Ivass, one less component and one more newsletter

IVASS is still without one of its advisors, but it has avoided paralysis and continues its business regularly. Despite the shortcomings of the Government - which last week confirmed only one of the two directors who had expired - the Insurance Supervisory Institute is preparing to launch a new initiative.

A new online newsletter will make its debut on Wednesday 20 February, which will be released on a monthly basis and will deal with current issues related to IVASS activities.

The publication is aimed at the Authority's stakeholders (insurance companies, brokers and policyholders), but also at ordinary citizens interested in learning more about the insurance market.

The first issue will address the issue of Brexit and its effects on insurance companies with an interview with the general secretary of Ivass, Stefano De Polis.

The first issue of the newsletter covers the following topics:

• Brexit: 9.7 million Italians are insured with British companies. What changes?
• IVASS intervenes for compensation for damages caused by potholes in Rome
• The Iper bulletin is online: motor liability prices are down
• 2018 stress test: a positive result for the Italian market
• New trends: instant insurance
