The sectors that show the largest increases on an annual basis in January are energy and petroleum (4,6%), mineral extraction (4,3%) and telecommunications (4%). No changes, however, in all sectors of the public administration.

Two out of three workers are awaiting contract renewal, the highest share since 2008. At the end of January - according to Istat - the share of employees awaiting renewal was 66,2% in the total economy and 56,3 .73,2% in the private sector. Such a high percentage has not been reached since January six years ago, when XNUMX% of workers were waiting for renewal.
