Intesa Sanpaolo, three projects for financial inclusion

Intesa Sanpaolo continues its financial inclusion activity with three new initiatives implemented through the Fund for Impact: 'for example' intended for volunteers of the Civil Service, 'to grow', for parents with school-age children, it isto have Care', intended for families with dependent people. With these new Impact loans, the Bank is strengthening its commitment to citizens who would have difficulty accessing credit according to conventional criteria. As with the entire Impact range, no guarantee is required, interest rates are contained and repayment times are particularly long, so that installments are "light". The new proposals (to know them in detail, click here) are added to the others already available, such as for Merit for university students, mom@work for young working mothers e Retirement goal for those close to retirement.

“The country will restart only if greater financial inclusion is guaranteed, so that all families can invest in their future in health, work and education. These tools are available to all public and private entities committed to guaranteeing people's rights; another step by Intesa Sanpaolo in the name of inclusion and access to credit”, he declares Marco Morganti, Head of the Intesa Sanpaolo Impact Department.

The new initiatives are implemented thanks to the Fund for Impact, the Intesa Sanpaolo tool born from the experience of Banca Prossima, and which today allows major credit inclusion campaigns for individuals and families, generating a concrete and measurable social impact. The Fund consists of 300 million euros which allow the disbursement of leveraged credit up to 1,5 billion euros. The series was inaugurated in 2019 by “per Merito”, the unsecured loan disbursed to university students on the sole condition that they maintain regular progress in their studies, followed in 2020 by “mamma@work”, the loan on favorable terms which offers working mothers a monthly salary supplement to reconcile family and professional life in the first years of their children's lives, "XMe Studio Station", the zero-interest loan for the purchase of devices and internet connections useful for families for distance learning and “Obiettivo Pensione”, the loan at favorable conditions for those who are close to retirement but are unable to pay the last and decisive years of contributions.
