Intesa Sanpaolo launches Art-è

The experimental phase of the acceleration program of innovative cultural projects in the area conceived by the bank led by Carlo Messina has ended

The experimental phase of Art-è, the acceleration program of innovative cultural projects in the area conceived and implemented by Intesa Sanpaolo Formazione, the training company of the Intesa Sanpaolo Group, with the collaboration of the Maurizio Maggiora Academy of Social Planning has been successfully concluded and of SocialFare – Center for social innovation and with the support of the Compagnia di San Paolo.

Between April and May, ten teams with innovative cultural projects active in Piedmont, Liguria and Valle d'Aosta, selected through a tender, participated in a project acceleration and training program, entirely free of charge, which took place at the Intesa Sanpaolo and Rinascimenti skyscraper Sociali, the headquarters of SocialFare. Thanks to Art-è, the teams, supported by specialized tutors, developed their project starting from the validation of their idea, continuing with the identification of the most appropriate business model and the evaluation of the social impact generated by the projects on the communities and on the territory.

A strategic sector for Italy, that of culture, in strong growth, which in 2016 generated around 90 billion euros (+1,8% compared to 2015) and employed around 1,5 million people (+1,5 % compared to 2015). In the same year in Piedmont, Liguria and Valle d'Aosta, the regions involved in the experimental phase, the total value produced by the cultural and creative production system amounted to around 10 billion with more than 160 people employed (Source: Symbola Foundation Report - Io sono culture 2017).

Art-è offers an integrated model of "training, support, tutoring and assessment" which, by integrating the most advanced national and international methods, theoretical sessions and practical workshops with testimonials and experts, allows participants to equip themselves with a personalized Development Plan, essential for the project to evolve into a real cultural enterprise.

The social impact according to the evaluation of the beneficiaries of the program was very high. An important result attributable to the reputation of the promoters, the professionalism of the teachers and tutors, the depth of discussion of the topics, the quality of the tools used and the free program.
