The application for managing Intesa Sanpaolo's online account on mobile devices is among the best in Europe. This was established by the US market research company Forrester, which declared the Intesa Sanpaolo Mobile app "Overall Digital Experience Leader" and Best Practice in various categories among European banking apps that stand out for functionality and user experience. The leading Italian bank was the best in four categories examined out of thirteen: “Everyday Banking” functionality (Account Management), for the daily consultation of accounts and cards and movements, also thanks to the smart function of viewing expenses on a geographical map; navigation, thanks to the simplicity and accessibility of the new completely redesigned navigation; usage guide (Error avoidance and recovery), for the interactive and contextual assistance provided to the customer in carrying out operations with the App; privacy and information content, for the clarity and transparency with which the App manages the contents related to Privacy and permissions requested from customers.

In particular, the app has convinced the experts, among other aspects, for the graphics, the fast and intuitive functions, the simplicity in searching for transactions and documents, without forgetting video banking, the new way to get in touch with the managers also remotely via video. The Intesa Sanpaolo app has seen significant growth in recent years: today it boasts 7 millions of active users (+130% since 2018, 1 million more in the last year alone, thanks also to the integration of Ubi Banca customers), over 1 billion logins per year, +10% of transactions executed compared to a year ago. Financial purchases "concluded" on digital channels via apps in 2021 were 6 times those of 2018 and now represent over 30% of Banca dei Territori's total sales: today one out of three "self" purchases is made through the app .
