Intesa Sanpaolo and Reale Mutua kick off the second edition of the "Insurance Innovation" Master - A figure who knows how to combine the modern language of technology with eco-sustainable development in the insurance sector

At the start second edition of the II level Master in "Insurance Innovation", promoted by the banking group led by Carlo Messina and Reale Mutua. The course for new professional figures operating in the insurance sector will make it possible to provide students with the tools necessary to respond to the new needs of a constantly evolving market.

The project is promoted with the Intesa Sanpaolo Group and Reale Mutua, with the support of the Compagnia di Sanpaolo Foundation, is designed and implemented by the School of Management and Economics of the University of Turin and the Masters and Lifelong Learning School of the Turin Polytechnic, in partnership with the Carlo Alberto College. The Master is a full-time training experience of the duration of twelve months (over 400 hours of lessons) which will end with a internship of at least 3 months at one of the partner companies with the possibility of joining the company.

Currently, the challenge for companies consists in seizing the potential of innovation and digital technologies capable of activating an eco-sustainable development of the country. The insurance business also requires new skills and figures capable of combining the digital transition with theenvironmental sustainability

Applications are openClasses are scheduled to start in October 2021. There are 25 places and scholarships are made available (for income, merit and off-site), in addition to the one called "Covid-19", recognized to all participants by the sponsoring companies to support training in this delicate moment.

The training offer pays great attention to the active participation of students, so as to encourage comparison and interaction between them. The route is organized in four platforms, both offline and online: Entry platform which offers differentiated teaching modules for each cluster of graduates (economics, social sciences, engineering, mathematics, physics and statistics) and the selection of these teachings makes it possible to build a personalized training path based on the previous studies of each student; core platform it is based on the fundamentals of the insurance sector, with a cut on ESG guidelines; Innovation platform: big data, analytics, artificial intelligence, cyber security and emerging technologies. Active platform: provides practical experience to be carried out through an internship or the creation of a project work, under the supervision of a company tutor.
