Satellite Internet, now you can

Internet for everyone and that reaches even the most remote areas of the world, where there is currently no high-speed connection. From today it is possible, thanks to Ka-Sat, the first satellite that will allow access to broadband in every region of Europe, North Africa and the Middle East.
Even today about 10% of the Italian territory, from Lombardy to Sicily without distinction, does not have access to the network. If the experiment were to succeed, it could also expand to other extra-Mediterranean areas.
“We are at the Big Bang of high-speed Internet via satellite,” Eutelsat president Giuliano Berretta said today in Rome. In addition to Italy, the event was presented simultaneously in Ireland, Great Britain, Germany, Spain, France and Greece.
