Production is growing both on an annual and on a monthly basis in the Eurozone and the EU – In Italy another bad drop, Germany and Spain are doing well.

Industrial production grows inEurozone and in Ue. According to the data released today by Eurostat, in both areas production recorded an increase of 0,6% both compared to the month of August (when it dropped by 1,4% and 1,2% respectively) and in comparison with the same month of the previous year.

bad theItaly, the worst among the big European countries. In fact, in our country production showed a drop of 0,9% compared to August and 2,9% on an annual basis. The data correspond to those reported from Istat in the past few days.

Bene Germany (+ 1,7%) and Spain (+1%), substantially unchanged France (+0,1%). The worst performances, however, were those recorded in Denmark (with a -5,6%), Portugal (-4,1%) And Holland (-2%).

In the currency union, the production of capital goods grew above all (+2.9% compared to August), while the heaviest decline was that experienced by durable consumer goods (-2,6%). The situation is also similar in the Europe of 28 states: the production of capital goods registers a +2,4%, while that of durable consumer goods -1,7%.
