In October, the index of prices of industrial production has dropped by 0,1% compared to September. The trend variation, on the other hand, is equal to + 4,5 %, the same value recorded in the previous two months.
Istat communicates it, specifying that the prices of the products sold on the internal market they are down 0,2% quarter-on-quarter and up 4,7% year-on-year.
Net of the energy sector, the decrease is 0,2% in quarterly terms, while the trend increase is equal to 3,3%.
The prices of the goods sold on the foreign market on the other hand, they show a decrease of 0,1% on the previous month, while on a trend basis there is an increase of 3,8%.
The sector of economic activity for which the trend of growth in prices is most marked is that of the manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products, which recorded an increase of 18,2% on the domestic market and 30,0% on the foreign one.
