Oil accelerates upwards, while the alarm on supplies arriving from Iraq is growing: Brent 114,7 dollars (+0,4%).

In Piazza Affari, the FtseMib index gained 0,8%. Oil stocks also made a significant contribution to the rise in the indices in Milan: Eni rose by 2,5%, for the first time since September 2008 above the 20 euro mark. The group announced that it has achieved its production goal of 25.000 barrels of oil per day at the Nikaitchuq field in Alaska, operated by the company with a 100% interest, and started up in January 2011. Saipem +1,7%, detached Tenaris +0,4% suffering from the default risk of Argentina.

The Paris, London and Frankfurt indices rose by 0,6% and -0,7%. In Europe, the greatest increases concern the sectors (Stoxx index) most linked to the economic cycle, such as construction +1,3%. In Paris, Saint Gobain, the European leader in building materials, rose by 3,9%, Vinci +2,1%. In Milan Italcementi gained 2,8%. The index of raw materials also rose +1,1% on the wave of reassurances on Chinese growth by the premier Li Kequiang during his visit to Lonfra.

FINMECCANICA, ENEL

Sharp rise of Finmeccanica which rose by 3,9%, recovering ground after three sessions of decline. The company has denied the intention to incorporate the subsidiary Ansaldo Breda.

Enel it gained 1,9%, the highest since August 2011: the managing director Francesco Starace said that in 15 days he will finalize the list of assets to be divested in order to achieve the debt reduction objective. A historic partnership comes to an end: to Carlo Tassara he sold the stake in Intesa Sanpaolo, around 230-250 million shares, at a price close to the average market value of the last few weeks (around 2,5 euros). This was reported by Milanese financial sources to the Radiocor agency. The value collected by the holding company founded by the financier Romain Zaleski is therefore close to 600 million euros. The sale of the banking group's shares is part of the holding company's strategies to progressively alienate the investments in the portfolio in order to cut the debt with the banks. The residual portion of Intesa SanPaolo shares held by Tassara was approximately 1,5% of the share capital.
