Fondo Italiano di Investimento enters the capital of Tecnam Srl

Fondo Italiano has signed an agreement for entry into the share capital of “Costruzioni Aeronautiche Tecnam Srl”, a company based in Capua (CE), active in the design and manufacture of light and general aviation aircraft. The total investment will be equal to 6,5 million euros which will give Fondo Italiano a minority stake in the company and will be aimed at consolidating its leadership in the light aircraft and aviation sector as well as entering the passenger transport market .Costruzioni Aeronautiche Tecnam Srl is the main Italian operator and one of the main world players in the design, development and production of single-engine and twin-engine aircraft for general aviation. The company, which today employs over 100 people, operates within the Neapolitan aeronautical district and represents an Italian manufacturing excellence capable of generating approximately 90% of its turnover in international markets. The General Manager of Tecnam, Paolo Pascale said he was "very satisfied with the entry of the Italian Fund into the shareholder structure, as it will guarantee the company to have a highly qualified partner useful in the growth process planned for the next few years".
