The first edition of the II level Master (lasting seven months) will start on 9 November 2019, directed by Prof Marcello Messori, Director of the School of European Political Economy (SEP) – Luiss Guido Carli and Prof Oscar Cosentini, Extraordinary Professor of Business Economics and Board Member of IBL Banca.

The master II level in European Economics and Banking Sciences (SEBE), is created by Luiss in collaboration with IBL Banca, leader in the sector of loans through salary or pension assignment. And he will be able to count on the scholarship made available by IBL Banca and by the Vincenzo and Lidia Giordano Foundation – named in memory of the founder and reference shareholder of IBL Banca and his wife Lidia. It's about 120 thousand euros for 20 scholarships to fully cover the participation fee for the Master.

The Master will consist of 400 hours of classroom training, integrated with laboratory work, on the fundamental issues that regulate the European money and financial markets, current management aspects and extraordinary operations and the governance of the risks of banking intermediaries. Monetary policy and European monetary economy; activities of credit institutions and securitizations; business organization and human resource management: these are the three macro-areas in which the course is divided.

The call for applications for scholarships expires on Friday 18 October 2019. The application must be submitted exclusively via the specially prepared online platform.

New graduates with a four-year degree (Old System), specialist or single-cycle master's degree, or other equivalent qualification, in Economics-Business Sciences (LM-77), Law (LMG-01), Political Sciences (LM-62) can apply. ), Statistical Sciences (LM-82), Management Engineering (LM-31). A special commission will evaluate the study and professional curricula and will choose the candidates admitted to the selection interview.

The lessons will take place in Rome mainly at the Luiss headquarters in viale Romania in Rome, with compulsory attendance. A final thesis is required to obtain the title.
