The merger project between Megas.Net and Marche Multiservizi, the largest multi-utility in the Marches which is part of the Hera Group (which today holds 49,59%) has been completed. The shareholders' meetings of the two companies approved, in an extraordinary session, the project for the merger by incorporation of Megas.Net into Marche Multiservizi.
The merger, which had already obtained the green light from the majority of the municipal councils of the shareholder municipalities of the two companies and from the trade union organisations, complies with the regulatory provisions of Legislative Decree 175/2016 (so-called Madia decree) but above all it represents a strategic operation for the territory which allows the achievement of multiple objectives with a view to improving the efficiency of services, rationalizing expenses and consolidating MMS.
Upon completion of the transaction, the public shareholders will hold approximately 55% of the share capital of Marche Multiservizi.
