Il Ferrovie dello Stato Group , Finance Guard have signed a cooperation agreement. The protocol was signed by the CEO of FS, Luigi Ferraris, and by Gen. CA, Joseph Zafarana, and it took place in the San Matteo Hall of the General Command of the Guardia di Finanza.
The goal of the collaboration
The agreement serves to prevent criminal infiltration attempts in legal economic sectors, for protect the regularity and the transparency of the tenders promoted by the FS Group e counteract fraud, corruption and general offences, with particular attention to the interventions envisaged under the PNRR.
Also activated a capillary monitoring of strategic infrastructures of Ferrovie dello Stato, through filming and photographic surveys carried out with the aid of aircraft of the Guardia di Finanza.
FS's commitment to legality and transparency
It is not the first collaboration with the Police Forces for Ferrovie dello Stato. Already, in May the collaboration with the Arma dei Carabinieri for counteract le criminal infiltration and promote the safety in the workplace and on construction sites of the infrastructural works managed by the Group. All with particular attention to the rinspection of the laws on labor placement, social security and safety in the workplace.
Therefore continues thecommitment of the FS Group in defense of legality, in order to prevent corruption and crime.
The agreements signed are part of the objectives declared by the Anti-Corruption Policy which the FS Group promoted last July with the aim of standardizing and integrating the rules and safeguards for preventing and combating corruption into a single framework for all its Italian and foreign companies.
