Sandro Bolognesi, CEO of Cassa Centrale Banca, has agreed with the Board of Directors to resign from his positions as General Manager and CEO. This decision comes at the end of a period of intense professional and managerial activity, during which The Group, which brings together a large part of the BCCs, has strengthened its position in the national banking landscape, consolidating profitability, equity, asset quality and service capabilities to Affiliated Banks and the territories.
Bolognesi leaves a strengthened and rapidly growing group
In recent years, the Cassa Centrale Group has in fact recorded a significant growth path: Consolidated net profit increased from 333 million euros in 2022 to 1.162 million euros at the end of the previous year, ROE rose from 4,7% to 11,1%, while the ratio of net non-performing loans to total loans decreased to 0,6%. The CET1 ratio stood at nearly 30%, confirming a very strong capital position. Total funding exceeded €129 billion, net loans reached €50,9 billion, and net commissions stood at €887 million. The Group now has over 1.500 branches and 12.580 employees, confirming its deep roots and the centrality of its relationships with local communities.
