Gros-Pietro: "I'm not looking for partners for RCS"

"It doesn't even remotely occur to me to deal with RCS": this was pointed out by the chairman of the management board of Intesa Sanpaolo, Gian Maria Gros-Pietro, to those who asked him if he was looking for shareholders for RCS, of which the bank is shareholder and creditor.

“It is not our job to produce newspapers: as Messina (ed. CEO of Intesa) says, we are shareholders, we are creditors, we are very sensitive to our position as creditors and we try to bring ourselves back to the status quo ante, when we were neither shareholders nor creditors”, that is, if and when it will be possible, to recover the credits and exit RCS, as FCA did.
