Greece, Ukraine: Milan expands losses

Start in deep red the week of the financial markets. In Milan, the index widens the losses to -2,14% (Ftse Mib index at 20316).Frankfurt -1,37% and Madrid -1,74% also fell sharply. Paris – 0,82%, London -0,54%. Athens leaves 5,2% on the ground under pressure from the banking sector -9,2%. The BTPs are weak with a ten-year yield of 1,627%. On Thursday the Treasury will launch a new seven-year bond (between 3,5 and 4 billion).

 They weigh the uncertainties linked to the vicissitudes of Greece and Ukraine, but investors were also negatively affected by the Chinese trade balance: export -3,3%, import - 19,9%, due to the lower consumption of raw materials. Alexis Tsipras reiterated his refusal to extend the current aid program with the EU and the IMF expiring at the end of February, and his willingness to renegotiate a bridging agreement which would allow Athens to present a reform package in June.
 
The euro strengthened slightly against the dollar to 1,134 this morning, from 1,131 on Friday, and also against the Swiss franc to 1,05, from 1,04. 
 The Brent it is down slightly to $57,50 (-0,3%).

JP Morgan today raised its rating on the entire Italian and Spanish stock exchanges to Overweight, reducing its forecast on the German market from overweight to neutral.

 However, Piazza Affari is conditioned by the sales of some leading stocks. It still loses blows Telecom Italy -2,4%, affected by the reduction in Marco Fossati's share of Findim. Equita analysts predict that the next three-year business plan will indicate a strong increase in capex to 5 billion (two-thirds in Italy), a debt/ebitda ratio of 2,6 times in 2017 and the possibility of suspending the dividend for at least one year.

It also goes down Enel -2,5%pending the placement on the market of a 5-6% stake by the Treasury. Enel Green Power loses 2%. In negative territory Eni -1,3%. In reverse Saipem's rise continues +0,6% after the Kashagan contract.

Negative banks. Banco Popolare -1,9%% and Pop Milano -1,1% corrected downwards, both at the center of risk among the Popolari. Also down was Unicredit -2%, Intesa -2,3%. Conversely, Monte Paschi +0,7%.

They retreat industrial stocks: Fiat Chrysler -2,4%, falls even after the long rally Finmeccanica -2,6%. StM -1,8%. Luxury is also weak: Ferragamo -2%.,Luxottica [LUX.MI] -1,6%.
