Gpi, Marco Tronchetti Provera & C. Sapa cancels the agreement with Malacalza Investimenti

This was announced by the same company belonging to the family of the Chairman of Pirelli, underlining that it “did exactly what was declared on November 6, 2012 by Gruppo Partecipazioni Industriali, which rejected any objection by Malacalza Investimenti.

Marco Tronchetti Provera & C. Sapa communicated to Malacalza Investimenti Srl "its cancellation of the GPI shareholders' agreement stipulated on 20 July 2010". This was announced by the same company belonging to the family of the Chairman of Pirelli, underlining that it "did its own what was declared on 6 November 2012 by Gruppo Partecipazioni Industriali, which rejected any objection by Malacalza Investimenti, rejecting the latter's request to proceed with the transfer favor of a compendium of Gpi (assets and liabilities) proportional to the stake held by Malacalza Investimenti in Gpi”. 

Gruppo Partecipazioni Industriali is the holding company that controls 42,65% of Camfin. Its main shareholder is Marco Tronchetti Provera & C. Sapa, which holds 54,9%, ahead of the Malacalzas, who own 30,94%.

"Having taken note of the clear will of Malacalza Investimenti, implicit in the advanced request to disengage from the existing agreements - continues the note - the company communicated today its cancellation of the GPI shareholder agreement stipulated on 20 July 2010".

In Piazza Affari, the Camfin stock recorded an increase of more than 7 points today.
