Government: taxes up to 0,8 per thousand, goodbye to the web tax

Government: taxes up to 0,8 per thousand, goodbye to the web tax

Goodbye to the web tax, welcome deductions on the Tasi. In addition to the third Salva Roma decree and the list of new deputy ministers and undersecretaries, this morning's Council of Ministers approved two important innovations on the fiscal front.

As regards the new tax on indivisible services (such as local public transport and street lighting), the Government has decided to allow an increase in rates up to 0,8 per thousand. The revenue produced by the increase in prices will allow for the introduction of deductions on first homes.

“Millions of families risked paying the tax on the house if the deductions hadn't been introduced – said the undersecretary to the Prime Minister, Graziano Delrio, at a press conference -. For each type of property, flexibility has been increased to 0,8 per thousand”.

In general, the Tasi "will be modulated and regulated by the mayors - Delrio specified again -, as it should be to make it more fair and flexible".

On the web tax front, however, Matteo Renzi's brief explanation is sufficient: “Removed – wrote the Premier on Twitter -. We will talk about it again in a framework of European legislation”.
