Gibus, the innovative Italian SME founded in 1982 in Padua and specialized in the high-end Outdoor Design sector, lands on the Stock Exchange. The company, best known for its bioclimatic pergolas, represents an increasingly interesting and profitable market, after the decree officially making it came into force a year ago Free Building Activity the installation, repair, replacement, renovation of awnings, pergolas, light furniture covers.

Gibus is present in Italy and in the main European countries with a network of over 330 ateliers. The main lines of activity, which are precisely the bioclimatic pergolas and the Zip Screens (the zip closures of the side walls, which adapt to the climate of each season), are characterized by a high level of design and technology.

According to Interconnection Consulting, the European market of bioclimatic pergolas, estimated at 238 million euros in 2018, recorded a 2015-2018 CAGR (annual growth) of +6,8% and will settle at 277 million euros in 2021. The European sunscreen market is instead estimated at 2,8 billion euros in 2018, and will reach a value of 3 billion in 2020: growth is driven by all types of products, with double-digit growth rates for Zip Screens, which will reach 574 million euros in 2020 (+11,9% CAGR 2017-2020).
