Germany, unexpected boom in industrial orders: +3,3% in September

Stronger-than-expected rebound for industrial orders in Germany. The September figure showed a leap of 3,3% on a monthly basis, while a moderate decline was recorded in August (-0,3%). The figure, reported by the German Economy Ministry, definitely exceeded the +0,4% expected by analysts.

A development that reduces the fears of a setback for the economic recovery of the euro area, also indirectly reshaping the expectations for a softer monetary policy line by the ECB. The orders for the foreign market drove the German orders.
