Genertel, the insurance company of Generali Country Italia, has announced the renewal of the collaboration with merfina, the financial company of the Mercedes-Benz Financial Service Italia group. The companies have announced the launch of the 2021 version of “feel star”, the insurance offer created in 2014, the year the collaboration began.
The new version of the insurance coverage will be offered in all Mercedes-Benz and Smart dealerships and will add new guarantees to the current version of feel Star, which already has 66.000 signed contracts. In 2021, thanks to feel Star, Genertel and Mercedes-Benz Financial Service Italia reached over 55 million in premium income.
Thanks to the new offer they will be available additional security solutions, such as the Return To Invoice (RTI) package which will allow customers not to suffer monetary losses in the event of theft or irreparable damage. It will also be possible to purchase the Electric Wheels Civil Liability which will protect customers from damage caused to other people when they are on an electric bike or scooter. Feel Star 2021 will also include the Premium Courtesy Car service, which will offer continuity of circulation in the event of theft, damage and now also in the event of car repairs.
In the feel Star 2021 package they will also be offered two levels of insurance upgrades connected to the premium package: the first will combine guarantees for Weather Events, Vandalism, Breaking Glass and Sociopolitical Events, while the second will increase coverage for Kasko, Minikasko and Driver Accidents.
