Generali: free medical teleconsultation in Italy

A team of over 100 doctors for listening, information and diagnosis will be mass from Wednesday 15 April available free of charge to 500.000 customers in Italy through teleconsultation, offered by Generali Italia, Alleanza and Genertel. The initiative is part of Generali's Extraordinary International Fund, which allocates up to 100 million euros to deal with the Covid-19 emergency. It is one of the many initiatives implemented by the Generali group, under the hashtag #InsiemeGeneriamoFiducia.

To be close to people in dealing with the coronavirus emergency, in addition to the services and free numbers of the National Health System, thanks to Generali Welion and Europ Assistance Italia, Generali Italia, Alleanza and Genertel have therefore activated the free teleconsultation, available to all 24 hours a day, to offer certified health information and the possibility of carrying out an initial medical evaluationif you have coronavirus symptoms.

Customers will thus be able to request information on the Covid-19 virus, on the behaviors to adopt for the prevention of contagion and have indications on the guidelines to follow in case of exposure to the virus. If customers experience illnesses attributable to the Coronavirus, or fear they have come into contact with infected people, the telephone consultation offers a medical evaluation (triage) with which, using the protocol defined by the Ministry of Health, the probability that the virus has been contracted is estimated and the details of the behaviors to be adopted in these cases are provided according to the ministerial protocols.
