Generali Italia and Visiotalent together for recruiting

Every day we discover at least one novelty: one of those today is that Generali Italia, the leading insurance company in the country, has signed an important agreement with Visiotalent, the leading Video Recruitment company, founded in 2014 by French entrepreneurs Gonzague Lefebvre and Louis Coulon,
to simplify and speed up the personnel selection process.

Visiotalent's Video Recruitment system was designed to revolutionize candidate selection and to allow HR professionals to invite candidates to record a video interview to attach to their application.

When it was thought that video interviews on Skype were the future, that candidates could comfortably stay in their own bedroom/kitchen/living room dressed halfway between those going to the office and those going to the gym, perhaps someone had already started thinking about how to make the recruiting process even more technological and digital. In fact, Visiotalent has arrived.

“With Visiotalent we intend to broaden the selection process with an approach that allows for the identification of important soft skills, such as relational and communication skills. This allows us to face market challenges in order to attract and retain new young talent, digital natives who are always connected”, explained Gianluca Perin, Human Resources and Organization Director of Generali Italia.

"We are delighted to have been chosen by such a prestigious company, such as Generali Italia, and to be able to actively collaborate to make the company's new personnel selection process even more effective and modern", commented Andrea Pedrini, Country Manager Italy by Visiotalent.

Generali Italia has started using the new platform since the beginning of this year: the response has been very positive, obtaining approval from the candidates with a response rate that varies between 80% and 85%.

“With these technological tools we intend to adopt recruiting methods similar to their preferences by analyzing candidate profiles right from the initial stages in a fast, streamlined and more stimulating way than the simple evaluation of a CV. On the one hand this adds value to the candidate's experience and on the other it makes the selection process more innovative and efficient”, continues Perin.

“This partnership with Generali Italia represents an important step in the field of digitization of its HR processes and is for us a fundamental step in the consolidation and expansion project of Visiotalent on the Italian market”, continued Pedrini of Visiotalent.

The company will indeed be able to identify the candidate's characteristics, motivation and skills right from the start, but the personal component will probably be debased: first impressions and the candidate's ability to interact personally with recruiters will give way to digitization After all, not everyone looks good on video.
