Generali Italia is rock for the That's Live 2018 event in Florence

Generali Italia in Florence is rock on the occasion – Saturday 21 July at the Artemio Franchi Stadium – of That's Live 2018, the concert that will see 1500 musicians on stage playing the most iconic songs in the history of world rock with the participation of Courtney Love and the musical direction of Maestro Peppe Vessicchio.

That's Live 2018, in its fourth edition, will be anticipated on Friday 20 and Saturday 21 July by the Rock Village, a space for sharing and musical activities for families dedicated to the Community Rockin'1000, for which Generali Italia has set up the Oasi Immagina.

Rocking'1000 was born in Cesena in 2015 when 1000 musicians – 350 guitarists, 250 singers, 250 drummers and 150 bassists – gathered in the racecourse park and played the Foo Fighters' song Learn to Fly. Since then, the organizers of the event led by Fabio Zaffagnini have decided to follow up on the event which this year celebrates four years and which will count 500 more musicians. Zaffagnini states: “the event makes rock a message of inclusion in every sense. In fact, everyone can play in this megaband, regardless of race, sexual orientation, religion. Inside, there are professional musicians who come from 30 countries around the world (from the USA to Russia, from Brazil to Iran), but also those who strum an instrument out of passion or sing in the shower. And in any case, none of them can be defined as a common musician, because all together they contribute to an extraordinary thing".

Stefano Gentili, distribution and marketing manager of Generali Italia said: “We want to be close to people who play an active role in the promotion and dissemination of art, culture, sport and, in this case, music.
