Generali Italia, agreement with agents: ok to single mandate

After months of negotiations, Generali Italia signs an agreement with the groups representing the agents, namely Anagina, Gaag, Gaat, Gagi and Unat, which establishes the adoption of the single mandate and the green light for the model of the entrepreneurial agent.

The mandate, “a contractual model that sets new standards” underlines the insurance company, acknowledges the entrepreneurship of the agent, guaranteeing him greater autonomy in the organization of his own structure, "within the framework of rules shared with the Company and the limits imposed by the regulatory framework”, explains Generali Italia.

The Agent-entrepreneur will therefore be able to operate through a subnet formed by collaborators selected and trained by the same agent.

Marco Sesana, Country Manager & CEO Generali Italia declares: “With this agreement, modern and consistent with the evolution of the markets, we strengthen the role of our agents in the current and future distribution landscape. The single mandate, in fact, enhances the relationship with the network, which has always been the fulcrum of our business based on the valuable consultancy of our agents in respect of the centrality of the customer figure, with the strategic objective of offering a relationship experience of high quality".
