Youth Guarantee, agreement between Generali Italia and the Ministry of Labour

"With this collaboration - underlined Marco Sesana, Country Manager and Chief Executive Officer of Generali Italia - we want to have an active role in the country's socio-economic system by promoting social inclusion, job placement and training recovery of young people".

Generali Italia takes sides with the Ministry of Labor to promote youth employment. The Minister of Labor and Social Policies, Giuliano Poletti, and the Country Manager of Generali, Marco Sesana, have signed the memorandum of understanding to facilitate the inclusion of young people within the corporate realities of Generali Italia. With this agreement, Generali Italia undertakes to increase the training internships and the level of employment of young people who have finished their studies and are not yet part of the world of work (Neet - Not in Education, Employment or Training), offering them new opportunities working.

Generali Italia's objective is twofold: on the one hand, to incentivize actions to guarantee the job placement of young people with specific skills, such as aptitude for commercial promotion, technical-administrative skills, digital profiles and Big Data analysis; on the other hand, foster the growth of entrepreneurial culture in young people, creating opportunities for the development of commercial and managerial skills. With a view to optimizing human capital, Generali Italia will also be able to draw on the database of the “Garanzia Giovani” program for the selection of young talents.

“I am really satisfied – declared Giuliano Poletti, Minister of Labor and Social Policies – with the start of the collaboration with Generali Italia, which allows us to expand and qualify the opportunities offered by the Youth Guarantee programme. The fact that important economic subjects choose to use the program to encourage young people to enter the world of work confirms its usefulness and positive value. I am confident that this initiative too, like others we have launched, will be able to produce positive results".

"With this collaboration", underlined Marco Sesana, Country Manager and CEO of Generali Italia "we want to have an active role in the socio-economic system of the country by promoting social inclusion, job placement and training recovery of young people".
