La Commission released the new growth forecast for the euro area for 2015, corrected to +1,7% from +1,8% in the previous February forecast. The 1,2% growth forecast for this year remains confirmed. As regards inflation, the Commission's forecast is for a rate of 0,8% this year and 1,2% in 2015, still far from the ECB's objective of "just under 2%".

However, the rise in wheat (+1,9%) to the highest levels of the last 13 months should be noted: Russia is the fifth world exporter of wheat, followed by Ukraine.

The Sentix index, which summarizes the trend in the "sentiment" of investors in the euro area, fell to 12,8 in May, from 14,1 in April.

In Piazza Affari the biggest drops concern Mediaset -3.85%.

Finally, reductions also for Eni -1%, Saipem -1,42% and Tenaris -1,42%.

The only title in positive ground is Terna + 0,31%.
