"It was a long and fruitful discussion." With these words, Economy Minister Giulio Tremonti commented on the meeting held this morning with Jean-Claude Juncker, president of the Eurogroup.
Tremonti had already rushed to Luxembourg this morning to meet Juncker, in a phase of great difficulty for Italy on the financial markets. This afternoon, however, he should be back in Rome to assist to Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi's speech to the Chamber, scheduled at 17 (initially at 15).
