Golinelli Foundation for Bologna Children's Book Fair

From Monday 26 to Thursday 29 March (9am>16pm), on the occasion of the Bologna Children's Book Fair and BOOM! Growing up in books, Fondazione Golinelli organizes laboratories, workshops and exhibitions for the public and schools, in collaboration with Griffo, the great festival of letters, a multidisciplinary project that narrates and celebrates the story of the Bolognese inventor and the importance of letters .

from Tuesday 20 to Friday 23 and from Monday 26 to Thursday 29 March, 10 am > 17.30 pm | exhibition itinerary Design becomes a game Exhibition of books, objects and educational games that explore all the compositional and chromatic potential of signs, shapes and letters to stimulate experimentation, research and curiosity. Tuesday 27 March, 17.30pm > 19pm | meeting and show Girls with numbers. Stories, passions and dreams of 15 female scientists The biographies of 15 female scientists to tell the faces of female science from different areas of the world. The authors, Vichi De Marchi and Roberta Fulci, with Chiara Segré and Ilaria Francica, tell us about these special women, their discoveries and how they changed history. Wednesday 28 March, 18.15 pm > 19.30 pm | meeting I'm pissed off. Anger and other emotions Manuela Trinci, scholar of children's literature, essayist and child psychotherapist, and Federico Taddia, journalist, radio and television host, author of the section “I'm pissed off. Emotions explained to my son” on Sunday of Il Sole 24ore. At the center of the meeting are the emotions of children and the ways in which adults can help them express and govern them. Imagining, illustrating, representing: during the activity a nice and original character accompanies the children in the creation of a story, which is then improvised in a mobile theatre. Yes, we print! Letters to touch, color and print. Let's discover, while playing, the ancient technique of manual printing with movable wooden types, non-toxic inks, presses and proofers. By Officina Typo. For whom: 8>10 years | Duration: 2h

Telling science – scientific writing workshop Can you find news on the internet? Can you tell if it's true or false? And above all, could you write a scientific article to be published in a web journal? Armed with PCs and newspapers, the kids simulate a real newsroom! Meeting with Giusi Quarenghi Giusi Quarenghi is the author of picture books, short stories, nursery rhymes, stories, popular texts, screenplays, novels. The meeting will focus on the importance and the possibility of a daily poetic language with our children, both at school and at home. In collaboration with Franco Cosimo Panini. Thursday 29 March, 17>19| laboratories

A roster of robots. A young illustrator and a scientific tutor accompany the children on a journey through robotics, programming and illustration. Edited by and with the illustrator Chiara Spinelli. For whom: 3>6 years | Duration: 2h

Writing programming. The participants try their hand at programming the robots on the wheel to write their name in a creative and original way. For whom: 6>7 years | Duration: 2h

digital ideograms. Chinese writing is one of the oldest examples of written language in history and still retains a mysterious charm linked to the meaning and form of the signs that compose it. Through HP Sprout, a powerful multimedia workstation capable of easily converting analog and digital, it will be possible to play with some Chinese pictograms and learn to reproduce them, understand their meaning, and then create an animated video story.
