From Monday at the Golinelli Opificio in Bologna, scientists, economists, journalists, historians and academics, led by the Rector of the Alma Mater Ubertini University and the president of the Golinelli Zanotti Foundation, will animate a series of events to reflect on the future, on the University, on education of today's youth

Golinelli Foundation, from Monday "The dialogues of Opus 2065"

Make way for imagination, gamble, ideas, concreteness: the Golinelli Foundation's factory in Bologna opens its doors to 16 of the country's best minds and asks them for visions of the future, education and the university. The names are prestigious: they range from the former director of Corriere della Sera, Ferruccio De Bortoli, to the scientific director of the IIT in Genoa, Roberto Cingolani.

The appointment is the first of a probable series called "The dialogues of Opus 2065" and is for Monday 13 June. The protagonists of the day will be scientists, economists, journalists, historians and teachers, guided in two sessions by the Rector of the Alma Mater Francesco Ubertini and by the president of the Andrea Zanotti Foundation. A veritable storm of brains to “understand – writes the Foundation – what are the features of a future? which is drawing rapidly and which appears suspended between technological accelerations, economic fragility and global redistribution of resources”. Is this the context in which to identify valid models of knowledge transmission and the right role for public and private cultural institutions? and research.

There are at least two questions on the table: “What will universities become in the next fifty years? How can a philanthropic foundation, not a disbursement one and more dynamic than those classically understood, integrate the demand for new training and support the action of the University to help the growth of a territory?”. The answers should define “an architecture of thought and action that can best interpret the unknowns of the future”.

Andrea Bonaccorsi, Edoardo Boncinelli, Flavio Caroli, Roberto Cingolani, Luca De Biase, Ferruccio De Bortoli, Adriano Fabris, Silvio Garattini, Lamberto Maffei, Alberto Piazza, Mario Rasetti, Aldo Schiavone, Raffaele Simone, responded positively to Marino Golinelli's appeal. Marcello Veneziani.
