Greece's referendum on new consolidation measures agreed in exchange for European aid it jeopardizes the stability and very “vitality” of the euro area, says the Fitch agency in a statement.
A possible rejection of the EU and IMF aid program just negotiated according to the international rating agency "would increase the risks of an uncontrolled default on payments and potentially a Greek exit from the euro. Both of these circumstances would have serious repercussions on the financial stability and vitality of the euro area”.
