Thursday 7 March, at 12.00, the Biblioteca delle Oblate in Florence opens the Contemporary room named after Violet Trefusis, writer, cosmopolitan intellectual, patron of the arts.

The Municipality of Florence, recognizing the cultural value of Violet Trefusis and its deep bond with the city of Giglio, pays homage to it with the naming of the Contemporary Room of the Oblate Library. The Authorities, the Gonfalone di Firenze, the citizens and the Press will take part in the inauguration ceremony.
