Finmeccanica reopens 7-year bonds, targeting 150 million in funding

The Italian defense giant has decided to reopen the seven-year issue already placed previously for 700 million euros - Today's funding target is at least 150 million - The initial price guidance has been indicated at around 310 basis points above the midswap.

Finmeccanica returns to the emissions market. The defense giant has mandated a pool of banks made up of Bnp Paribas, Citi, Credit Agricole, HSBC and UniCredit to reopen the books of a bond maturing in January 2021, with the aim of raising at least 150 million euros.

The first phase of the issue had led to a placement for the amount of 700 million. The bond pays an annual coupon of 4,5% and initial price guidance has been indicated at around 310 basis points above midswap. 

Meanwhile, Finmeccanica stock advanced by 1,53% on the Stock Exchange in the mid-morning, making it one of the brightest stocks on the Italian stock exchange.
