Un 2014 fairytale for atr, joint venture between Airbus e Finmeccanica. The company closed 2014 with a record of orders, deliveries and turnover. This was communicated by the CEO Patrick De Castelbajac, during a press conference in Paris.
ATR announced that it closed 2014 with 160 firm orders, plus 120 options. This is higher than the previous record set in 2011, when ATR closed the year with 157 orders and 79 options. That of 2014 is a level of orders never reached before, since worth $6,8 billion, such as to guarantee three years of production.
The data on the deliveries, which went from 74 in 2013 to 83 of the past year. ATR's goal will be to reach 100 deliveries in 2016.
Finally, regarding the turnover, in 2014 it stood at 1,8 billion dollars, with a marked increase compared to 2013, when revenues were 1,63 billion. For the current year, the company aims to reach a turnover of 2 billion dollars.
