Finmeccanica: agreement with Cdp on Ansaldo Energia, the Board of Directors tomorrow

The overall valuation given to the energy company, now 55% controlled by Finmeccanica and 45% owned by First Reserve, is over one billion, taking into account debts of around 300 million – They shouldn't be included in the match, at least for now, the Koreans of Doosan – The operation could bring in the coffers of the group up to 400 million.

Il Board of Finmeccanica it will meet tomorrow at 16 pm: it will arrive on the table the offer of the Italian Strategic Fund for the acquisition of Ansaldo Energia. According to Radiocor, in fact, an agreement was reached between the holding company led by Alessandro Pansa and Cassa depositi e prestiti, which heads the FSI. 

The overall assessment given to the energy company, currently 55% controlled by Finmeccanica and 45% owned by First Reserve, is over one billion, taking into account debts of around 300 million. Fsi should acquire, in addition to the stake held by the American fund, a large part of 55% of Finmeccanica. 

The Koreans should not be part of the match, at least for now Doosan, identified by Pansa as potential buyers of Ansaldo Energia, who could subsequently enter as industrial and financial partners. 

On Tuesday there was a meeting at Palazzo Chigi between the Prime Minister, Enrico Letta, Pansa and the CEO of CDP, Giovanni Gorno Tempini. An appointment that took place more or less at the same time as that between the Minister of Economic Development Flavio Zanonato and the trade unions, in which the minister had reassured the Government's intention not to sell the Genoese company abroad. 

The operation could bring in Finmeccanica's coffers up to 400 million. Meanwhile, the stock rally continues in Piazza Affari: after gaining 7,6% yesterday, today at the beginning of the afternoon, Finmeccanica shares are up by almost five points, to 5,3 euros, clearly taking the lead in the rises of the Ftse Mib.
