Fiat denies Il Messaggero: "Insinuations on Consob investigation on liquidity are false"

Fiat responds. After indiscretions that appeared this morning in Il Messaggero and in Il Mattino, which referred to an investigation underway by Consob on the liquidity declared by Fiat (22,7 billion) in the half-yearly report, the response from Lingotto arrives punctually, entrusted to a press release.
The note reads that Fiat, like many other companies listed on the Stock Exchange "usually receives requests for information from Consob on various matters (including liquidity) to which it replies regularly, but is not aware of any 'investigations'" in its comparisons, adding, then, that "any insinuation that Fiat does not have the liquidity declared in its periodic financial communication is false and as such it will be treated by Fiat”.
However, the blunt denial of the Lingotto is not enough, at the moment, to reassure the Stock Exchange, with the Fiat share which in the early afternoon ranks at the bottom of the FTSE Mib, losing 3,57% at 4,316 euros per share
