Trento Economics Festival postponed to September

The coronavirus takes another victim: among the many events scheduled for this spring and which are inexorably jumping one after the other, there was also the 2020 Economics Festival, scheduled in Trento like every year between the end of May and the first days of June. The date, in late spring, had led to hope until the last moment of being able to save the appointment, which in all probability would have been held at the end of the quarantine period established by the Government. But the precaution is never too much and there would not have been the conditions for a regular performance anyway: this is why the decision of the Organizing Committee, chaired by the scientific director Tito Boeri, arrived.

The organizers have therefore decided to move the event to early autumn and precisely from 24 to 27 September 2020. The theme of the XNUMXth edition, dedicated to "Environment and Growth", remains unchanged, but there will certainly be an opportunity to reflect on the economic and social effects that the pandemic is causing globally.
