Today at the Industrial Union of Turin, the trade unions Fim, Uilm, FisMic, Uglm, Aqcfr defined with the groups FCA and CNH Industrial and the agreement on the 2018 welfare plan.

As indicated by the trade union organizations, the agreement sees the increase in the contribution paid by the companies and improves the agreement previously defined in 2017 which has already seen the adhesion of over 29.288 making the Welfare Plan of FCA and CNH the first in Italy for number of members.

On the basis of what has been established, the workers will have the possibility to choose to receive a portion of company bonuses in the form of welfare goods and services, further increasing the economic advantage compared to the previous year. In particular, the worker will have more possibilities on a voluntary basis to increase the amount of salary to be allocated to the welfare system, increasing from a minimum of 400 euros to a maximum of 1.500 euros, with intermediate fractions of 700, 800, 1.100 and 1.200 euros .

All through the use of the productivity incentive (minimum quota 400 euros, average 800 euros, maximum 1200 euros) and the efficiency bonus (300 euros).

"With today's agreement we have improved the economic advantage for the over 84.000 workers of the two FCA and CNH Industrial Groups who will voluntarily join the 2018 welfare programme". This was stated by the Fim Cisl national secretary, Ferdinand Ulianus, regarding the renewal of the agreement with the two companies on the Welfare Plan.

The improvement was made possible”increasing the corporate contribution doubling it from 5% to 10% for amounts exceeding the minimum of 400 euros, giving the worker the possibility of voluntarily allocating to the welfare plan amounts exceeding the 700 euros already provided for in the previous year”, explained Uliano.

In this way, “the worker can decide to use both productivity and efficiency bonuses allocating amounts ranging from a minimum of 400 euros to a maximum of 1.500 euros”, and thus “the higher the amount allocated, the greater the economic advantage will be for tax relief, tax exemption and the company contribution up to a quota of 24 % to 27% of the amount paid”, explained the national secretary of the Fim Cisl, underlining that “the agreement represents a further positive response to workers and their families”.
