Factoring grows by +11% in 2017

As at 31 October, the increase in the turnover of factoring, a business that is worth 13% of GDP, compared to the first ten months of 2016 is equal to 11,76%, according to preliminary estimates by Assifact.

Factoring continues to grow. As at 31 October, the increase in turnover compared to the first ten months of 2016 is equal to 11,76%, according to preliminary estimates by Assifact. For a business that is worth 13% of GDP, the year-end figure is also positive, which the same operators expect to be 7,63%.

Meanwhile within Assifact, the Italian association for factoring which represents the main companies in the sector, the appointments for top positions have been completed. The new Executive Committee elected Roberto Fiorini, CEO of Unicredit Factoring SpA, as president of the Organization and Human Resources Commission.

In addition to confirming Antonio De Martini, managing director of Factorit SpA, and Gianluigi Riva, vice president of Exprivia Digital Financial Solution Srl, both already in office, the Executive Committee of the Association has also appointed two new members of the DAP Committee: Luciano Braglia, managing director of Credemfactor SpA, and Raffaele Zingone, head of Banca Ifis Impresa Italia.

The Assifact Executive Committee includes the president Fausto Galmarini, the vice presidents Roberto Fiorini, Gianluca Lauria, Paolo Licciardello, Alessandro Ricco and Gianluigi Riva, the directors Paolo Alfieri, Massimiliano Belingheri and Antonio De Martini and the past president Rony Hamaui.
