According to data released by the European Central Bank, in April the current account surplus in the Eurozone reached a record level of 21,5 billion euros - In the last 12 months a surplus of 248,7 billion, equal to 2,6. XNUMX% of the GDP of the currency union.

The data from the central bank is the synthesis of the surplus of 16,9 billion in goods, 10,6 billion in services and 5,3 billion in the income account, surpluses which more than offset the deficit of 10,6 billion in current transfers. 

In the last 12 months, the seasonally adjusted current account surplus reached a record level of 248,7 billion, equal to 2,6% of the Eurozone's GDP.
