Record Eurozone Current Account Surplus. This was communicated by the ECB, according to which the surplus reached 21,5 billion euros in April. The data from the central bank is the synthesis of the surplus of 16,9 billion in goods, 10,6 billion in services and 5,3 billion in the income account, surpluses which more than offset the deficit of 10,6 billion in current transfers.
In the last 12 months, the seasonally adjusted current account surplus reached a record level of 248,7 billion, equal to 2,6% of the Eurozone's GDP.
