Equita Group, as Sole Bookrunner and Placement Agent, today successfully concluded the placement through the MOT platform of Borsa Italiana of the 180 million bond issue of the Carraro Group. The Carraro issue represents for Equita the ninth bond placement since 2013 in the role of Sole Bookrunner for mid-corporate issuers and confirms its absolute leadership in this market segment.

As part of the strategy and consolidation of dialogue with medium-sized enterprises, the team was further strengthened with the arrival of Andrea Scarsi, a professional with almost twenty years of experience with responsibility and focus in Mid Cap Advisory.

The Investment Banking team continues to be active in all sectors. “In the last three months Equita has assisted, in addition to the Carraro Group in the bond issue, Enerco in the assessment of the strategic options which then led to the integration with Italgas, it has acted as Bookrunner in the recent placement of Spaxs, the SPAC promoted by Corrado Passera, and as Nomad and Joint Bookrunner in the placement of ALP.I, the SPAC promoted by Mediobanca. In the world of Financial Institutions Equita contributed to the successful outcome of the capital increase of Banca Carige, to the acquisition of the Casse di Risparmio di Rimini and San Miniato by Credit Agricole Cariparma and assisted the independent directors of Anima Holding in the operation to strengthen the partnership in asset management between the Anima group and the Poste Italiane group".
