The Iran reconnect with Eni. In an attempt to restore the agreement that existed before the sanctions, the National Iranian Oil Company has signed a short-term contract with the Italian group for the sale of crude oil. This was announced by the executive director for international affairs of the Tehran oil company, Seyed Mohsen Ghamsari.
“The National Iranian Oil Company has sold a crude oil cargo to the Italian company,” Ghamsari continued. Negotiations are also underway for a long-term contract, which could cover the transit of 100 barrels per day.
Ghamsari later said that the Iranian company has also signed another agreement with Saras, which includes the "possibility of sending from 30 to 60 barrels of crude oil per day".
In the early afternoon at Business Square Eni's share dropped 0,5%, to 14,97 euros, while Saras shares were up sharply: +2,5%, to 1,691 euros.
