Eni's Board of Directors has appointed Claudio Descalzi as Chief Executive Officer and General Manager, to whom it has conferred the powers of administration of the company with the exclusion of specific powers that the Board has reserved for itself, in addition to those that cannot be delegated by law.
While awaiting final decisions, the Board confirmed Descalzi as general manager of the Exploration & Production Division. The Board then resolved, in compliance with the Code of Conduct for listed companies, that the head of the Internal Audit function reports hierarchically to the Board and, for it, to the Chairman Emma Marcegaglia.
Furthermore, the President will carry out her statutory functions of representation by managing the company's institutional relations in Italy, jointly with the managing director.
