Enel to start sales in Slovakia and Romania

The generation assets in Slovakia and the distribution and sales assets in Romania have been identified as possible objects of sale by the group.

Enel to start sales in Slovakia and Romania

Enel's CEO, Francesco Starace, yesterday informed the board of directors that the group's generation assets in Slovakia and distribution and sales assets in Romania have been identified as possible objects of sale by the group. The company communicates it in a note.

As regards Slovakia, the scope of the sale concerns 66% of the capital of Slovenske Elektrarne, which is the main national operator in the electricity generation sector with a market share close to 80%. 

In Romania, on the other hand, the scope of the sale concerns 64,4% of the share capital of Enel Distributie Muntenia and Enel Energie Muntenia, 51% of the share capital of Enel Distributie Banat, Enel Distributie Dobrogea and Enel Energie, as well as 100% of the capital of the service company Enel Romania (owned by Enel through Enel Investment Holding BV).
