The presidential elections in Brazil will be decided in a runoff. The challenge will be Dilma Rousseff e Aecio Neves: the current Head of State and leader of the Workers' Party obtained yesterday's consultations the Present in several = 41,6% of votes, while the Social Democratic candidate achieved the Present in several = 33,6%going beyond expectations. The ending for the environmentalist and candidate of the socialist party was very disappointing Marina Silva: just the Present in several = 21% of votes. 

Another three weeks of the electoral campaign are now opening: the second round will take place on 26 October. From the early days of the run-up to the polls, polls indicated that the match would go to runoff.

In the next few hours it will be known whether Marina Silva will suggest to her voters to give the votes to the challenger Neves or if she will leave freedom to vote. For the moment, the ecological leader has not spoken out: "We will organize meetings, we will dialogue among ourselves", before taking a "shared decision", based on the programmes, she declared after the results of the first round.
