"Conscious citizenship in financial education courses", this is the title of the conference to be held Friday 19 January at 11.00 in the Sala Giunta of the Palazzo di Città in Bari. The event, organized by Global Thinking Foundation, a non-profit foundation that promotes financial literacy projects and initiatives, in collaboration with Assiom Forex and under the patronage of the Municipality of Bari, is part of the D2 path - Women squared, financial and entrepreneurial education courses aimed exclusively at women throughout the country.
Speakers: the Mayor, Antonio Decaro, Roberta Marzullo, Director and Head of the Secretariat Division of the Bank of Italy, Rosanna Grimaldi, Lecturer of the Women Squared Project, and Claudia Segre, President of the Global Thinking Foundation. The project involves a team of 30 women who, thanks to their experience in the world of finance, have made themselves available to hold free financial education courses for the benefit of other women who are experiencing a moment of difficulty and wish to get back into the game.
Support is offered to women who have experienced events linked to situations of economic isolation, veterans of divorce or domestic violence, to return to being protagonists and to emerge from social and work exclusion. The digital economy offers numerous opportunities to women who wish to establish themselves and achieve their independence, even as entrepreneurs, but this path must be supported by a solid financial and economic background. Women who intend to access forms of teleworking or remote work need notions of financial planning to also manage the needs of the family and any children.
Global Thinking Foundation with this project it brought together valuable women with extensive experience gained within banks and institutions, who immediately accepted the challenge of committing themselves to something effective for other women and enthusiastically shared the goal of social inclusion, in line with the dictates of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank (which aim within 2030 to contribute to global growth by promoting the financial inclusion of those adults who are not involved in the formal financial system, allowing them to achieve access to current accounts and means of financial settlement).
ISO certified training, is divided into three modules:
1. Family Planning: the Family Budget linked to Life goals
2. Financial Planning: Financial Education and Investment Focus
3. Professional Planning: The female enterprise in the time of the sharing economy
