In 2013, Italian families spent 28 billion euros on building renovations and energy savings, causing the State to collect 5 billion euros in VAT. This is certified by the data released by Cresme and commented by the Minister of Infrastructure and Transport Maurizio Lupi, who underlined the thrust of the Ecobonus to these restructurings.

“It is proof that the tax authorities – declared Minister Lupi -, used in a non-vexatious way towards businesses and citizens, can be a lever for recovery.
