Dubbing, an Italian excellence worth 100 million euros

Dubbing in Italy is a sector that employs over 2.100 workers including voice actors and studio technicians: in our country there are over 100 dubbing rooms and the activity, which the Netflix vice president himself has defined as "an all-Italian excellence" is worth a turnover approaching 100 million euros.

This and more will be discussed at the conference, organized at the Luiss University in Rome on 14 November at 10, entitled "Dubbing, an Italian excellence: safeguarding quality and copyright".

The meeting precedes the awarding of the Dubbing Grand Prix by a few days, also scheduled in Rome at the Auditorium Parco della Musica on November 23rd. Speakers, among others: Flavia Piccoli Nardelli, president of the Commission of the Chamber of Deputies, Ranieri de' Cinque Quintili, president of the technical section of Anica, Nicola Borrelli, director general of the Mibact, Andrea Marzulli of Siae. Moderated by the journalist Tonino Manzi.
