Intesa Sanpaolo's comment

“Companies made a good recovery in 2021 – he comments Stefano Cappellari, regional director of Intesa Sanpaolo Piedmont North, Valle d'Aosta and Sardinia – In the current scenario, the most significant risks come from the energy front. In the immediate future we have activated two extraordinary measures: an 18-month loan with a 6-month grace period intended to cover the cost of bills, and a consultancy service to cover the risk of changes in the price of energy and gas. We are also intervening to support companies exporting to Russia and Ukraine. The supply chain system, a key element of our economy, was one of the main factors of resilience in the crisis phase, just as today they can be a driving force behind the diffusion of technology, digitization and towards a more sustainable way of producing".
